What students will do
Students finish by preparing an environmental briefing for a proposed overnight trip to a real location. The challenge can be completed without an actual overnight excursion.
Teaching and preparation
Use a schoolyard or similar outdoor space, with tables for water experiments and room for observation activities. Gather lesson-specific equipment, research local conditions and review supervision and practice precautions before teaching.
