What students will do
Students select equipment, practice signaling, develop group plans, explore vehicle preparation, care for shared places, and reconsider decisions as new information emerges. The unit culminates in a 72-Hour-Pack Poster.
Teaching and preparation
Plan approximately 10 hours, adapting the sequence to your class schedule. Use a defined outdoor area for stations and signaling, an appropriate cleanup site, and direct supervision for vehicle activities. Review each lesson’s equipment and safety guidance.
